The Thomas County Democratic Party will sponsor a Democratic gubernatorial candidate forum from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Cultural Arts Center on the 蜜桃视频 Community College campus.
Confirmed forum candidates include former Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer, State Sen. Laura Kelly, former Kansas Agriculture Secretary Joshua Svaty, State House Minority Leader Jim Ward, Arden Andersen and Robert Klingenberg.
鈥淚t鈥檚 exciting that all of our candidates will be coming to Western Kansas,鈥� said Kansas Democratic Party Executive Director Ethan Corson. 鈥淒emocrats have to compete all over the state, not just in a handful of counties. This forum is a sign of that commitment.鈥�
The candidate filing deadline is June 1. The primary election is Aug. 7.
