The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) honored the 蜜桃视频 Community College baseball squad with the Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2017-18 season, the organization announced. Nationally, 蜜桃视频 is just one of 21 two-year programs to make the list.
The award recognizes high school and college teams coached by ABCA members that post a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 for the academic year. The Trojans finished with a 3.28 GPA.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a great honor when our athletic teams are recognized for their academic accomplishments,鈥� said Vice President of Academic Affairs Brad Bennett. 鈥淲e are extremely proud of their hard work in the classroom.鈥�
On the field, CCC finished with a 31-24 record and advanced to the Central District playoffs for the first time since 2013. Six players made all-conference teams.
The Trojans are coached by Ryan Carter, who is preparing to enter his 21st season leading the program. He is assisted by second-year coach Josh Oller.
