The 蜜桃视频 Community College Farm Bureau Chapter will host 鈥淲here鈥檚 the Food Without the Farmer鈥� in the college cafeteria from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15. The public is invited to attend this awareness day about American agriculture.鈥淭his is an opportunity to share factual information about American agriculture while having some fun as well,鈥� said Collegiate Farm Bureau Advisor Shanda Mattix. 鈥淲e have involved several organizations including the Thomas County Farm Bureau Association, Kansas Farm Bureau, Kansas Beef Council, Southwest Dairy Association, 21st Century Bean and the Kansas Livestock Association.鈥�
The awareness day is part of the 鈥淚 Love Farmers鈥hey Feed My Soul鈥� movement. The goal of the group is to create conversations about American agriculture with college students and to disseminate materials that will lead them to credible sources of information about food and agriculture.
鈥淐CC was one of the colleges selected to host this nation-wide event,鈥� said Mattix. 鈥淲e are pleased to participate and invite everyone to come to the Union on Thursday.鈥�
